MOBILITIES HANDBOOK

Mobility-based training program for Early-Stage Researchers (ESRs)

This mobility program is part of the SOLARIZE project, which aims to strengthen global collaboration by the use of research infrastructures for specific work themes.
These training events leverage the mobility of early-stage researchers among SOLARIZE Consortium members for one-on-one research mentoring over approximately one month. Students will carry the knowledge and experiences gained with them after graduation, while this mobility will enhance scientific excellence, collaboration, and synergies among SOLARIZE’s partners.

Important information

Target audience

This program is designed for early-stage researchers from SOLARIZE Consortium institutions.
Early-stage researchers (PhD students) are those who are, at the time of selection by the host institution, in the first four years (full-time equivalent) of their research careers and have not yet been awarded a doctoral degree. This is measured from the date when they obtained the MSc degree which formally entitles them to embark on a doctorate (as a PhD student).
In addition, researchers who are within five years from the date of obtaining their PhD will also be considered under this program.

Duration

Stays should have a minimum duration of 2 weeks and an estimated maximum duration of 6 weeks and must be completed by November 1st, 2027.
The researchers will agree with the host institution on the duration and dates of the mobility.
