Surveys

Infrastructure Needs & Synergy Potential Survey

Introduction.
This survey aims to identify current and emerging needs for Concentrated Solar Thermal (CST) research facilities and the services they offer and explore synergies with other renewable energy technologies. The outcomes of this survey will contribute to an optimal design of the EU-SOLARIS ERIC. Therefore, your inputs are crucial for shaping the future renewable energy research landscape in Europe, in which cross-cutting technology leadership is on the top priorities.

This survey will be disseminated through various channels, including international events, project workshops, and targeted outreach to relevant research communities. Interviews will also be conducted to gather more in-depth information. All data collected will be treated confidentially and used solely for the purpose of the project SOLARIZE

Stakeholder Consultation Questionnaire

Introduction.
This consultation aims to collect input from industrial stakeholders, research organisations, technology providers and policy actors involved in the Concentrated Solar Thermal (CST) sector. The responses will support the development of the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) for future European research, development and innovation activities.
The questionnaire focuses on technology priorities, innovation needs, market barriers and policy frameworks required to enable the deployment of CST technologies and support the transition towards a net zero greenhouse gas emissions economy by 2050.

CSP/CST stakeholders: do you use or need standards?

Introduction.
As a CSP/CST specialist, your organization must operate within a sector undergoing continuous maturation. The development, harmonization, and adoption of standards are essential to ensure performance, safety, bankability, interoperability, and long-term sustainability.
This survey is addressed to you professionals, researchers, engineers, project developers, and other specialists working in the field of Concentrating Solar Technologies. Its objective is to better understand:
• Your level of awareness and knowledge of existing CST-related standards
• Your degree of involvement in standardization activities
• The perceived relevance and impact of standards on your work
• Your interest in future standardization initiatives
Your insights will help identify current gaps, assess industry needs, and guide future actions to strengthen standardization efforts in the CST sector.
We greatly appreciate your time and expertise in contributing to this important initiative.
This survey and its exploitation are funded by the the SOLARIZE European project. This project targets to support the long-term sustainability of EU-SOLARIS ERIC, the European consortium of research infrastructures dedicated to concentrated solar power and solar thermal energy (CSP/CST).
