Internal and External Workshops

SOLARIZE provides two types of workshops:

A.

Internal training activities for staff members involved in the operation and governance of EU-SOLARIS, both at the Central Hub and across national nodes.
The aim is to strengthen managerial and technical capacities, improve coordination, and ensure efficient day-to-day operation of the research infrastructure. A series of targeted courses will be delivered, covering topics such as:

• Administrative procedures
• Project and budget management
• Coordination of service-level agreements
• Organisation of access activities
• Technical aspects related to solar research infrastructures.

B.

External events dedicated to specific topics to foster bilateral exchange between research and industry. Among the topics suggested are:

• Conditions Monitoring of CST plants
• CST standards, to share current work in progress and identify needs from industry
• Measuring systems for component’s performance, e.g. flux measurements for CST plants.
• Simulation models and design tools
• O&M issues of CST plants.
• Hybridization with other renewable energy sources
• Energy policy and funding frameworks
