Internal and External Workshops
SOLARIZE provides two types of workshops:
A.
Internal training activities for staff members involved in the operation and governance of EU-SOLARIS, both at the Central Hub and across national nodes.
The aim is to strengthen managerial and technical capacities, improve coordination, and ensure efficient day-to-day operation of the research infrastructure. A series of targeted courses will be delivered, covering topics such as:
- Administrative procedures
- Project and budget management
- Coordination of service-level agreements
- Organisation of access activities
- Technical aspects related to solar research infrastructures.
B.
External events dedicated to specific topics to foster bilateral exchange between research and industry. Among the topics suggested are:
- Conditions Monitoring of CST plants
- CST standards, to share current work in progress and identify needs from industry
- Measuring systems for component’s performance, e.g. flux measurements for CST plants.
- Simulation models and design tools
- O&M issues of CST plants.
- Hybridization with other renewable energy sources
- Energy policy and funding frameworks
