SOLARIZE NATIONAL EVENT IN GREECE
The SOLARIZE National Event in Greece aims to present the EU-SOLARIS ERIC and highlight its role in advancing Concentrating Solar Thermal (CST) research and innovation at the European level. The event will promote Greece’s full membership in the organization, fostering dialogue among national and European stakeholders on strategic priorities, research collaboration, and long-term integration into the European CST research infrastructure.

It is also relevant for organizations and institutions interested in Greece’s participation in European research infrastructures and in strengthening collaboration at the European and international level.

Roundtable Discussion
The roundtable discussion will address the current status and future outlook of CST technologies in Europe, focusing on key R&D activities, research infrastructure needs, and innovation gaps across the CST value chain. It will explore access to testing facilities, thermal energy storage, solar fuels, and digital research services, while identifying opportunities for Greece to strengthen its role in European CST research, foster industry–research collaboration, and contribute to EU decarbonization and industrial heat objectives. |
