🎖️ EU-SOLARIS Outstanding Contribution to the Improvement of CST Research Infrastructures Capabilities and Services 2026
Winner: Solar Energy Autopilot (SOLEA)
Inga Miadowicz and her team from DLR Institute of Solar Research, Germany.
🎓 EU-SOLARIS Best Doctoral Thesis Award 2026
Winner: Mathias Kuhl, from DLR Institute of Solar Research, Germany, for the doctoral thesis:
“A Data-Driven Methodology for Precision Flux Density Predictions for Heliostat Fields.”
Both awards were granted by consensus decision of the EU-SOLARIS ERIC Scientific and Technical Committee in recognition of their exceptional contributions to the CST community.
The awards will be officially presented during the SOLARIZE Doctoral Colloquium 2026, taking place in Nicosia, Cyprus, from 19–23 October 2026.
We warmly congratulate this year’s award recipients for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the CST community.
