On 12 February, the workshop “Solar Thermal Technologies for a Sustainable Türkiye: Green Thermal Energy Solutions” was held in Ankara, bringing together key stakeholders to discuss the strategic role of solar thermal technologies in the country’s energy transition.
The event was organized by Middle East Technical University, ODTÜ-GÜNAM, and EU-SOLARIS ERIC within the framework of the SOLARIZE Horizon Europe Project. The workshop provided a platform to address critical topics, including the decarbonization of industrial process heat, the advancement of domestic solar thermal technologies, and Türkiye’s integration into the European Research Area.

The workshop convened representatives from academia, the public sector, and industry, fostering knowledge exchange, encouraging collaboration, and exploring pathways for the wider adoption of green heat solutions.
Discussions highlighted the significant potential of solar thermal technologies to support Türkiye’s sustainable energy transition and strengthen long-term decarbonization strategies.

Participation in this event underscores our continued commitment to advancing innovative green thermal energy solutions and supporting initiatives that drive sustainable energy development.
